This is a very beautiful and meaningful song. I love to put my own stories in the songs I like, so let’s start with this one. Sorry for the exaggerations, if any. I’ll start the story from the last verse to the first verse, then the bridge part.

Obviously, there’s a guy and a girl. I can say that the guy is quiet, you know? haha! And the girl? I can say that she’s a friendly one. They’re friends with each other but there’s a time when the guy found out that he’s scared to know that he’s always on the girl’s mind. That might be a bit presumptuous, but to the guy’s defense, I can say that he’s scared because he’s feeling something for the girl, a feeling that he can not understand nor explain, a feeling that if he pursues may make the girl a bit troubled (depends on the girl, of course). The second verse was a bit hard but to make things easier, I can say that it just means that the guy and the girl have different personalities. But with that, we can say that they had a happy ending.

To tell you guys the truth, I’ve been drafting this post for almost a week and can’t still find the right words to express what I want to say.

A close friend asked me if I can relate to the song and I can say that yes, I can. Then there’s the follow-up question asking me the differences I and that special girl have.

Let’s see. Hmmmmmm. I really can’t remember it but I think it’s the attitude that we have. She’s friendly, while I’m, er, grumpy? Haha. I mean, most of the people I knew told me that my first impression to them is that I’m a snob and blah blah blah nega nega nega. In short, I’m not the one you want to talk to if we don’t know each other. In the other hand, she’s a direct opposite. My first impression to her is that you can always approach her without any negative aura or something like that. I think you already get it. But as the song implies, after some circumstances blah blah blah, you will feel this sort of connection, if that’s the correct term. That’s when you will notice that the two of you collide, and after the differences between the two of you will be no match to that connection.
