Matagal ko nang gustong gawin ang post na ito, ngunit ngayon lamang nagkaoras. Mapapansin mula sa iba kong post na isa ako sa mga pinuno ng aming Alumni Association.

Noong kami ay nagtapos sa mataas na paaralan, ako ang nahalal na bise-presidente ng alumni association ng aming batch. Nais sana naming buhayin ang alumni association simula sa aming batch. Sa katunayan, bawat isa sa amin ay nagbibigay dati ng dalawampu o tatlumpung piso kada buwan para sa isang kabataang pinag-aaral namin sa Bikol. Hindi ko na alam kung anong nangyari sa kanya dahil pagkalipas ng humigit kumulang isang taon, nawala na rin ang aming munting alumni association.

Ngunit bago tuluyang maglaho iyon, nagkaroon kami ng mga pagpupulong. Sa katunayan, napag-usapan pa naming gumawa ng isang everything-under-the-sun na quiz bee para magkaroon ng pera ang asosasyon. Nagkaroon din ng mungkahing magkaroon ng sariling konstitusyon ang asosasyon. Nagkaroon din ng mga pagbabago sa hanay ng mga opisyales dahil sa mga pagbibitiw ng ilan.

In the middle of all the exams and requirements, I’m still thinking about this. Haha. The alumni association was revived once again. It did not die actually. It just had a 50-50 state. This post is for the possible projects that I’m thinking. I just need to post somewhere for documentation purposes.

Plans:
1. Bank Account – This is covered last time in our meeting. We should already have chosen a bank for this. The plan is to have a joint account where two out of three signatories are needed to withdraw some money.

2. Receipts – We should have this at least for internal auditing purposes.

3. Raffles – We already have an existing raffle that is due for almost eight months already. We should already finish it.

I should have presented this proposal last sunday in the officers’ meeting, if there was a meeting, but our family had already scheduled a summer outing that day.
